Keynote Speakers
For the 25th anniversary of the ER conference, we are particularly
pleased that its founder,
Peter Chen,
will be a keynote speaker. As is well known, Professor Chen originated
the Entity-Relationship Model, which today serves as the foundation of
many systems analysis and design methodologies and as the foundation of
many CASE tools. In recognition of the widespread influence of the ER
Model, Professor Chen has been the recipient of numerous awards, and he
is recognized as a true software pioneer.
Colette
Rolland, another keynote speaker, is currently Professor
of Computer Science in the department of Mathematics and Informatics at
the University of PARIS-1 Panthéon Sorbonne where she has worked since
1979. She is Director of the Centre de Recherche en Informatique. Her
current research interests lie in the areas of information modeling,
databases, temporal data modeling, object-oriented analysis and design,
requirements engineering and specially change engineering, method
engineering and CASE and CAME tools, change management and enterprise
knowledge development.
