Distributed Database Design - Models, Algorithms & Case Studies: Issues Investigated

S everal mathematical models have been developed for fragmentation and allocation of databases. They incorporate concurrency control and query processing techniques. These models have been solved using heuristic solution procedures. Several case studies with real world organizations have been performed to validate the models.
